The Transportation Information Center (TIC) is located on the bottom floor of the SUB in front of the NM Educators Federal Credit Union near the Mercado and Lobo Card Office. At the TIC you can work one-on-one with a friendly and knowledgeable representative to explore all of the transportation options available to you here at UNM.
Getting to UNM
When it comes to commuting to UNM – you have a lot of options. UNM is the most popular destination in the state with the most alternative transportation accessibility. UNM receives the most frequent and vast bus service, is served by numerous bicycle routes and paths, and is a walkable campus. Since UNM began offering exclusive (free or greatly discounted) services for the UNM community, rates of driving alone have drastically decreased because many people are choosing alternative transportation. Not only is it good for the community and environment, but it is also good for your bank account.
