The SUB’s facilities are available for use by chartered student organizations, UNM Departments, and community organizations. Features of the SUB include 20 meeting rooms of different sizes and setups, professional catering service, a full-service audio-visual department, and more.

CHARTERED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

1. POLICIES:

Note: UNM Departments and Off-Campus Organizations may partner with Chartered Student Organizations for rooms, conferences and other events, but they will be charged the standard UNM Departmental Rate and Off-Campus Organizational Rates accordingly.

2. ROOM RESERVATION:

Browse and reserve available spaces here, or contact the UNM Event Planning and Scheduling Office to speak to an event planning specialist at 505-277-5498 or subevent@unm.edu.

3. FOOD OPTIONS:

Browse the chartered student organization menu and order food on UNM Catering's website.

Orders can be placed online at unmcatering.catertrax.com, or by calling the Menu Planning office directly at (505) 277-2506. To ensure UNM Catering receives your request, please do not place orders via email.

4. REQUEST FORMS (AS NEEDED BY THE EVENT PLANNING AND SCHEDULING OFFICE):

If your organization wishes to reserve more than three rooms per week or is requesting rooms in the SUB for the purpose of a conference-like event, please submit an Exemption Request Form.

If your organization is seeking to use the money allotted from ASUNM or GPSA student government funds, please submit an Internal Requisition Form from the Student Government Accounting Office.

If your organization does not agree with the Event Planning Manager’s decision on multi-sponsorships or an organization’s exemption request, please submit an Appeals Request.

5. ADVERTISE
